Update May 29, 2020
With the announcement from Governor Brad Little moving Idaho to stage three of the Idaho Rebounds plan we are now open for practice court reservations, small event reservations, and open gym/open pickleball. We will still be monitoring how many people are in our facility at once and will continue increased cleaning and sanitizing protocols. We ask that all guests entering the facility follow social distancing requirements, practice good hygiene, cover coughs and sneezes, and avoid physical contact. If you are sick, have tested positive for COVID-19, or believe you have been exposed to COVID-19 within the last 14 days please do not enter the MEC. Thank you for your cooperation.

You can reserve courts for basketball, volleyball, or pickleball. We do not have any open gym time available during phase two. Open gym will resume on June 1st during Phase 3. We appreciate your cooperation, and we look forward to resuming full operations in serving you.

March 15, 2020 (10:30 a.m.)
Mountain View Event Center (The MEC) is working hard to observe recommended best practices regarding coronavirus (COVID-19). The safety and health of our guests are very important to us.
We have cancelled Idaho State Xcel Gymnastics, scheduled for March 20th – 22nd and Intermountain Volleyball Association Tournament on March 27th – 28th. We will continue to evaluate and cancel events on a case by case basis.
We are canceling our open gym pickleball schedule and our weekday practice schedules until March 29th. We will continue to monitor the situation and determine if we are able to reopen after March 29th.
The MEC is staying in close contact with healthcare providers, state coronavirus response teams, and health agencies in the event that any cases are reported in our community.
During our time off, we will be deep cleaning and disinfecting the MEC. Our cleaning company, Nucleane, will be using an electrostatic sprayer to spray disinfectant on all touchpoints, restrooms, bleachers, etc.
We appreciate everyone’s patience as we continue to work through this situation. We will provide updates as needed and as information changes.
